Where the Magic Begins

Custom Embroidered Microsuede Folio Invitation

We recently had the pleasure of working with event planner extraordinaire Margaret Short, of Margaret Events in Naples, Florida. She is not only fabulously friendly, she is a quintessential professional and the best of the best when it comes to event planning. She came to us with an idea for an embroidered silk folio invitation for the Vintner Dinner at the Naples Winter Wine Festival. We ultimately turned out this luxurious aubergine microsuede folio invitation.

After learning about the Naples Winter Wine Festival, and the theme of "Believe in the Magic", I thought silk simply won't do... we need something stronger, something with a little more presence and power. My vision was instantly microsuede, and I am so glad she saw my vision because these custom folios turned out exquisitely.

The invitation packed just enough punch with gold foil text and simple gold satin corner pockets, while the enclosure included a trademark graphic from the event.

And in what has become our signature mailing presentation, we wrapped these white gloss mailer boxes in gold satin ribbon and finished them with a perfectly layered address seal. Love!

Fairytale Wedding Invitations

A while back, a client came to me because she was having a ten year anniversary vow renewal ceremony, and wanted fabulous invitations to match the fabulous event. After some brainstorming, we came up with these fantastic gold taffeta fairytale storybooks.

I asked her for photos from their wedding and courtship, as well as honeymoon. It brought a big smile to my face knowing this gal trusted me so much as to share these special moments. But then I had to figure out a way to organize them into a story. Below are some of the first pages of her fairytale.

Each book was post bound, and was embellished with a 9" wide organza ribbon and a sparkling rhinestone cluster. Each mailer was wrapped in metallic gold paper, wrapped with a white satin ribbon, and finished with a custom 3-layer cardstock address seal.

We pulled out ALL the stops on this baby! This fabulously over-the-top silk invitation was inspired by the decor design of the event, held at the St. Regis - Atlanta (photos of the fabulous space to follow :) We were contacted by their uber-luxe event designer/catering manager with a challenge... create the most fabulous invitations ever for a gal who is not easily impressed. Sure. We can do it. And we did!

Evolving from a silk box, we wound up with a gorgeous French Lilac dupioni silk invitation with a one-of-a-kind wedge design, created to accommodate the 10" acrylic cube it would be contained in. The inspiration: a butterfly atrium.

Embellished with crystal branches and glittery feather butterflies, this silk invitation is the first truly 3-dimensional design of it's kind. The butterflies literally float above the invitation. We LOVE!
