So, back in the day when I was young and innocent, I would have killed for invitations like these!  Heck, I would have killed for a party that warrants invitations like these.  Gorgeous, sumptuous navy velvet monogrammed boxes with invitations so spectacular and sparkly... there isn't a girl out there who wouldn't go ga-ga.

The color scheme for the event is virtually all white and silver with hints of navy blue to add depth and drama.  Lots of sparkle, lots of opulence.  Right up my alley :)
We created a velvet box with a 3-layer invitation composed of imported Italian metallic cardstock, glitter cardstock, as well as our signature Snow White matte cardstock. Added a silky navy satin ribbon and a glittering 2-tier rhinestone buckle embellishment, a hint of Swarovski's and... voila!  GORGEOUSNESS!

I have become a HUGE fan of glitter cardstock... especially the kind that doesn't shed glitter everywhere.  Savvy DIY-ers, listen-up... I don't share vendors often.  Want to add the shimmery sparkle seen here and not have to worry about getting glitter everywhere?  Check out Die Cuts With A View glitter stock.  You will not be disappointed.

Even the RSVP card is something one would want to keep as a keepsake.  3-layers, satin ribbon, Swarovski crystals, and an adorable custom monogram... LOVE!

The whole beautiful ensemble was encased in a custom rhinestone monogram velvet box.
Note to self: Make sparkly monogrammed box for self.  Lots of them.

And we simply couldn't take such a gorgeous invitation and send it out in a raggedy ol' cardboard box.  So we dressed the box in shimmery silver paper, a silky satin ribbon and a fabulous 3-layer custom address seal.  Talk about adding to the anticipation.
