You have probably realized the peony box is our signature invitation. But we're still finding ways to make it fresh and new. Case in point, this gorgeous lavender-grey dupioni box with lavender satin ribbon and a pink peony decked out so perfectly I'd wear it in my hair as a headpiece!

Spring has Sprung Gatefold Silk Box Invitation

Custom-made silk box invitation with rhinestone closure
All Rights Reserved

My, my, my how the year is flying by!!  I can't believe we are headed toward the Ides of March already!  Let's hope it passes easily because we have some big projects on the board at the Studio and can not be slowed down one second!  Well, maybe one second... to show this adorable custom gatefold silk box invitation that has recently left the Studio floor ;)

All Rights Reserved

We created this asymmetrical gatefold box using faux dupioni (that's right... not even the real stuff, and it is still uber fabulous)! we took a sumptuous satin ribbon and finished with with a sparkling rhinestone closure.  The box itself is only 5" x 7", however the style and design give it a presence that is much larger.

The invitation was crafted from heavy weight metallic stock and slightly textured white card stock.  A fabulous custom monogram sat "below" the text, while satin corner pockets gilded with swarovski crystals finished the edges.

I love the springy colors and upbeat softness of this ensemble!  Makes me think that perhaps Spring really will pop in soon!

Silk And Satin Brocade Box Invitations... DIY style!

Silk and Satin Box DIY Invitations

So I am finally getting around to posting pics of these GORGEOUS invitations created by one of our clients.  She came to Revelry Invitation Studio for custom boxes to enhance her fabulous invitation idea.  She saw our exclusive satin brocade folio on our website and knew that fabric would be perfect.

The inspiration for her wedding was "Marie Antoinette hosts a Venetian Masquerade".  Each box was created using Baguette dupioni silk for the base and interior, and a gorgeous gold brocade satin for the lid.  We finished it off with a pink satin ribbon and a sparkling rhinestone buckle.

And what a fabulous invitation she created! Gorgeous gold papers, a custom ivory jacket, ostrich feather, satin ribbon, custom wax seal... what more could a girl want?  Great job Catherine!  And congrats on your wedding!

Garden Peony Silk Box

Garden Peony Silk Boxes shipping out of the studio today.  I just love these things! They make me so happy to look at.  And even though I think all the invitations we send out are stupendous, these just make me smile for the day.   We've done a couple versions in the past...

The Navy Garden Peony Silk Box with iridescent green ribbon...

Pink and blue for a Sweet Sixteen...

Our Signature Silk Box. "The Original"... the one that started it all :)

A Cactus Flower invitation for a (you guessed it) desert wedding.

And although this isn't a box, it was originally inspired by "The Original" Garden Peony Silk Box.  I love the crystal floral spray and the handmade paper roses.  Gorg!

New Silk Invitation Boxes!

I am so excited about the new silk boxes we are handcrafting at the Studio!  The popular overseas silk box manufacturers have dominated the industry with their affordable faux silk boxes... until today!  Due to popular demand (and the guts to finally give it a go), we have added similar styles to our handmade line-up.  Our new silk invitation boxes are crafted from 100% dupioni silk (as opposed to polyester) with roughly 200 colors to choose from, they're competitively priced, and proudly manufactured by a US based company!

Shown is a 6" x 6" x 1" flip-top lid box we created for a prominent East Coast luxury event stationery designer, who has had nothing but glowing things to say about our products.  We hope to add more styles and examples to our growing list of luxury invitation foundation pieces by the end of the month.
